Fuel Level Computer

Fuel Level Computer

SKU: RI-2024-3
$149.95Price

This innovative little box helps aircraft owners calibrate irregular or circular fuel tanks, providing a linear fuel level from a fuel tank that is in no way linear. It acts as an ‘interposer’ between the tank, fuel probe, and instrument display.

It provides the same benefit of fuel tank calibration found in EFIS systems.

Although not designed for panel mounting, it does include a five-point LED fuel gauge. The output of the FLC may be attached to any standard fuel gauge. A fuel pressure sensor is available separately,

  • Product Features

For calibration, five buttons are set at 0, quarter, half, three-quarter, and full levels. The input into the FLC may be any standard 0 to 5 volt fuel probe or any standard resistive sender.

The output of the FLC is always a standard 0 to 5 volt value, compatible with almost all fuel gauges currently on the market. Furthermore, the FLC includes a five-point LED fuel level gauge, which illuminates red when the tank remains below 25% of fuel.

It is an affordable option that helps solve tank and probe calibration issues. Although not designed for panel mounting, it does include a five-point LED fuel gauge. The output of the FLC may be attached to any standard fuel gauge.

We also make a Fuel Pressure Sensor available separately,

  • Technical Details

    • Dimensions of 2”x 2”x1”
    • Nominal +12V power supply
    • 2 mounting holes on a center of “X”
    • 5 buttons for initial one-time fuel tank calibration
    • 5 LEDS provide simple fuel gauge, with last LED showing red when < 25% remaining
    • FLC accepts input from any 0-5 volt probe, or any 0.5 – 4.5 volt probe, or any resistive probe
    • Provides calibrated output of 0-5 volts, varying with actual fuel level
    • Ideal for use with oddly shaped tanks
    • Case is 3D printed with black nylon
  • Add Fuel Probe Sensor

The Fuel Probe Sensor measures any type of fuel or liquid level and provides an electrical indication to instrumentation along 0 and 1.5 bars of pressure and provides an output between 0.5 to 4.5 volts.

Ideal for monitoring level of liquid in many other applications, such as agricultural spraying.
